The company is creating a buzz with its patented products and promotional initiatives. The prospects are in the pipeline. What we need now is someone who can turn up the velocity and convert leads into sales.

This is what we can tell you about the job today ? it?s fun, interesting, and challenging! It involves:

  • Using a variety of techniques to effectively research, identify and target prime prospects for new company business

  • Reaching out to prime prospects by phone, email, and other means to uncover opportunities to solve their problems using our products/services

  • Qualifying prime prospects to advance through the sales pipeline by comparing information learned during phone or email exchanges with a prospect to key client criteria established by Steller

  • Accurately entering, tracking, and reporting prospect data and all business development activities using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other tools

  • Regularly and actively collaborating with company leadership, the Sales Support Specialist, the marketing department, and other team members to exchange relevant and timely information about the status of leads/qualified prospects, scheduling appointments, and other key pipeline progress milestones and customer discoveries

  • Conducting whatever follow-up is required to promote and support activities associated with converting qualified leads to new customer sales; among other duties, this could involve nurturing prospects through the sales pipeline, uncovering new needs and up-sell opportunities with current clients, etc.

  • Regularly tracking, preparing, and delivering accurate data to support pipeline management; providing other metrics used by company leadership to develop, adjust, test. and refine sales strategy and decision-making.

We do have some basic job entry requirements, they are:

  • HIGHLY DESIRED: Associate degree in business or marketing and/or 2+ years equivalent business experience in online retail, phone/chat, e-commerce, or SaaS sales

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment; must be willing and able to assume personal ownership of business activities and meeting stretch expectations

  • Effective, persuasive and compelling communications skills and having an effective sales cadence is absolutely critical

  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships with others

  • Being an Organization Guru is prized!

  • Ability to work independently, learn new skills quickly, and take initiative

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

  • High comfort level with new and evolving technology, software and spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) for financial, metric-driven performance reporting, all Microsoft office products, on-line meeting and customer management tools, smart phones and other technology tools

  • Intellectual curiosity and high ambition to achieve and/or exceed expectations and performance parameters

  • Background checks may be performed; results must be satisfactory to the company (if not true, delete this clause)

  • If hired, must adhere to all company policies and procedures and other prescribed best practices/industry standards

  • We are anticipating the best location for this position will be working from our office in the Altoona | Tyrone, PA metro area, but there is also the possibility the individual could work remotely from home, provided they can be punctual and report to our office for business meetings or special events, and/or to otherwise satisfy business requirements in that geographic area.
