About the role:
The role of Analog ESD engineer involves process technology, device physics and circuit design. The engineer designs/develops on-chip ESD protection rules that keep TI chips from being damaged during handling, testing and/or operation. This internship gives an excellent view of the BIG PICTURE for mixed-signal and CMOS technology/product development. Our team works with industry-leading CMOS, analog-CMOS, BiCMOS, SOI and High-voltage technologies
As an intern on the Analog ESD team, you will have the opportunity to work on:
Developing new ESD solutions based on TCAD and silicon experiments
Debugging ESD failures that occur during product qualification
ESD characterization and analysis of various components that make up analog technologies

Qualifications
Minimum requirements
Pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics
Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
Strong device physics background
Working knowlege of analog and CMOS process technologies
Analog circuit design fundamentals
Preferred qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
