Summary:

Facebook is seeking an Accounting Manager to join it’s EMEA finance team. This full-time position is located in Dublin, Ireland reporting to the EMEA Head of Statutory Compliance. The Accounting Manager will be a top academic performer with a number of years experience in financial reporting and audit. In this position you will be given the opportunity to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment while performing your function.

Required Skills:

  1. Statutory Controller for multiple EMEA entities

  2. Collaborate with technical accounting team and other finance functions to support the preparation and review of financial statements, accounting positions and policies

  3. Lead projects to identify, design, test and roll-out new financial reporting systems/tools/processes

  4. Create strong business partnerships and manage service levels with third party service providers

  5. Assist with the preparation and co-ordination of Statutory Audits

  6. Manage processes for the preparation of tax returns

  7. Manage processes for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements

  8. Contribute to quarterly SEC reporting cycle

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

  2. Excellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located in different locations

  3. Relevant industry PQE with large, fast-growing, multi-national company

  4. Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP

  5. Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel

  6. Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

  7. Organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement

  8. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Big 4 experience

  2. Related industry experience
