Scope of Job

Graduate Assistants will be assigned the research faculty with calculations and simulation of partial differential equations related to quantum field theory in some cosmological models using Mathematica and Maple software.Using remote access from home to university computing resources.Mathematical derivation of formulas for the solutions of partial differential equations.Verifications of some formulas using Mathematica.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of linear algebra, differential equations, advanced calculus, numerical methods, quantum mechanics, analytical mechanics.• Advanced knowledge of Mathematica software or Maple; or the ability to learn to do so through other programming experiences.
