Cabot Corporation Capital Manager in Franklin, Louisiana
Responsible for the management of the Canal plant’s Capital Project Management program. Directs and monitors the interaction between the Canal plant and the Corporate Capital group for the planning, design, construction and start-up of projects. Organizes and leads the capital team to ensure that all work is developed and executed in a manner consistent with Cabot SHE and Process Safety expectations.
Drive a proactive plant, capital, and contractor safety culture.
Lead and facilitate communication and integration of plant priorities into short & long-term capital plan.
Facilitate early project scope development and assignments with other departments
Manage and execute plants annual MPA budget.
Provide project managers guidance on design and execution of projects at Canal
Interact and supervise regional project managers executing projects at site.
Work with corporate standards group to ensure timely compliance with equipment and safety requirements.
Maintain internal customer contact and satisfaction.
Manage internal and external project personnel and site technical/financial resources
Possess expert project management skills.

BS Degree – Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical
5+ years in a chemical or related industry, or at an engineering management company, having specific experience in project management.
Site supervision in a construction environment
High level of proficiency with project controls (cost & schedule) programs.
Strong software understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of cost accounting methods and systems
