  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.

  • 5-7 years relevant experience.

  • Commitment to applying advanced to expert knowledge of business technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise, including design, development, testing and project management.

  • Advanced to expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rules.

  • Ability to work independently as the senior or lead system analyst and coach or guide team. •\tGreat decision making, innovation and creativity.

•\tExcellent team player with ability to work in tight time schedules and demanding targets.

•\tSelf-motivated and able to work independent of constant supervision and management.

•\tKnowledge of use case creation and use case methodology

•\tFamiliarity of bank standards, infrastructure, architecture, testing methodologies and code management practices.

•\tStrong oral and written communications skills to clearly articulate requirements.

•\tStrong analysis skills

•\tPrevious experience with vendor system integrations for batch and real-time processes

•\tUnderstanding of Restful APIs, data mapping

Job Description:

About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Fraud technology team within the Protect Technology Solutions organization, working on Fraud-sponsored projects. The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with, and liaising with, business partners and external vendors to define business and technical requirements for a new detection platform and assist with smaller projects.

•\tDefine, document and translate high level business requirements into detailed technical specifications, working both independently and with a team on a new initiative to support our US Fraud team and smaller enhancement projects, which includes detailed documentation, process flows and data models.

•\tWork with vendor partners to ensure requirements are fully defined and communicated and maintain ongoing communication with the vendor throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure they are fully knowledgeable of any changes.

•\tContribute to the development of project plans by providing input to project charters, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time-line estimates, scope and control.

•\tComplete documentation of technology processes of existing applications where gaps exist

•\tEnsure Business Recovery Plans are in place.

•\tComply with the TD Agile, system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management (PMLC) methodologies.

•\tAssist with the prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests.

•\tIntegrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability and ensuring seamless delivery.

•\tEstablish appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementation.

•\tDefine, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics.

•\tSupport production issues and complete ongoing communication with business and technical partners on status and resolution

•\tAssist in the development of conversion and implementation strategies. Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements. Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and desktop standards, and the business.

•\tLiaise with testing partners to assist in developing test strategies, test cases, perform testing, and provide user documentation, user training, and post-implementation support.

•\tCollaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.

•\tSupport other team members to achieve business objectives and provide client services.
