The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Supply Chain Process Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading projects to improve processes that optimize production planning and execution and conducting production, procurement, and capacity planning for any assigned assets

  • Designing and managing the implementation of complex supply chain activities using supply chain methods and tools (i.e. Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Loop and Supermarket, Safety Stock)

  • Developing Subject Matter Expert skills across multiple processes/systems and leading standard work deployment, Factory Planner utilization, Frozen Schedules, and parameter management process advancement

  • Coaching, mentoring, and training Supply Chain team members on the use of Supply Chain Science tools and methodologies to make data driven decisions across multiple plants

  • Supporting and promoting a continuous improvement culture and recommends and influences major Supply Chain changes to key stakeholders

  • Serving as a key resource for BT readiness and deployment activities for multiple plants while also serving as a Production Planning Super User

  • Supporting Monrovia, CA, Montrose, CO, Oak Hills, CA, Prairie du Chein, WI, and Royersford, PA manufacturing locations

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years of combined experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management

  • APICS Certification or demonstrated progress towards completion

  • Experience leading Six Sigma Green Belt and/or other projects

  • Experience in Lean Scheduling or Lean Manufacturing

  • Experience or knowledge in 3M planning systems such as SAP, Factory Planner, PeopleSoft, GGSM, GDMR, DMPT, COMS, PMCS-NT, and/or INVENTO, etc.

  • Project Management experience

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills: good presentation skills

  • Advance Microsoft Access and/or Excel skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence others and work effectively in a team environment

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international

Location: Remote work may be authorized for a U.S. based location
