Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tech Analyst 2 in Milford, MI.Responsibilities:

• Connecting vehicle exhaust to collection systems

• Connecting various instrumentation

• Input data into test equipment computers

• Drive test vehicle in a prescribed manner

• Chocking wheels in place

• Conduct various pre/post vehicle conditioning such as fuel changes and other activities

• Performs EPA and CARB chassis emissions test sequences in compliance with regulations

• Determines proper vehicle and equipment setup given test objectives

• Provides consultations to others requesting input and assists in developing work instructions

• Provides technical support and leadership

• Runs all and provides expertise with many special tests

• Expertly drives demanding test sequences and vehicles

• Detects and reports subtle and trend type malfunctions

• Determines and plans project/ task assignments given objectives

• Records and reports data and pertinent observations completely, accurately and neatly, assembling and distributing the data

• Works with minimal supervision or technical direction

• Interacts with all in a positive and professional manner, helping to create a cooperative and constructive approach to problem solving, decision-making and planning

• 2 years' experience. (Educational degrees and/or training may reduce the length of relevant work experience required)

• Experience in automotive, emissions lab testing, or electronics background highly preferred

• Technical Training beyond high school or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of basic automotive systems desired

• Able to proficiently drive a manual transmission

• Intermediate computer skills

• Available for any shift including weekends

• Be able to carry out specifically outlined job assignments with some supervision

• Be able to describe work accomplishments or concerns through effective verbal and written communications

• Be able to interact smoothly with other workers at several levels
