Position Description:

CGI is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our CGI team!

You will work as part of a team who support and maintain high profile platforms for State agencies. The position includes daily interaction and coordination with CGI teams, partners and the client agency’s infrastructure team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will be a part of an infrastructure team and supports projects’ information security needs to comply with comprehensive security programs and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Responsibilities include:

Providing cybersecurity management for operational performance and compliance.

Support security assessments, new authorizations, and continuous monitoring requirements to obtain or maintain the compliance.

Develop security documentation, analyze security controls, manage vulnerability remediation activities, and assist with the integration of new technology with information security standards.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an IT Compliance, Security, or Risk Analyst role.

• Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.

• Ability to propose relevant IT responses to changing business risks and regulatory changes.

• Ability to interface well with Infrastructure (Windows, Storage and Network administrators), as well as developers, business leads and stakeholders.

• Relevant knowledge and background in information security and technology controls, compliance and/or regulatory experience

• Solid understanding of industry-recognized information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF

• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security.

• Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions

• Infrastructure Technology background/experience

• Practical experience in conducting both written and verbal communication effectively to multiple levels within the organization

• Demonstrable ability to take complex technical information and translate it into clear communications (presentations/memos) for a variety of audiences

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
