About the position: This position will be assigned to the Scott AFB, Bowling Center. Working Conditions: Heavy physical effort is required in frequent lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and in using heavy hand tools and operating equipment. Works indoors in areas that may be dusty, drafty and noisy. Responsibilities Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes, pins and lane approaches adhering to established standards. Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes. Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans; collects and removes trash; maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
