Danaher Corporation Marketing Manager, South Korea in Seoul, South Korea
The role of the Marketing manager, South Korea is to develop and execute country wide marketing strategy, campaigns and activities that are aligned with the growth initiatives for the country/region and contribute to revenue. She/he will serve as a business partner for the country General Manager to define and execute country level marketing initiatives and promotional tools that meet country/regional marketing and business targets. The position requires a good understanding of the pathology science, an excellent level of marketing including digital marketing to leverage digital channels for driving demand throughout the region. Additionally, great project management skills will enable the marketing manager to drive all initiatives and manage external service providers on market research, customer studies and PR strategies.
Formulates and executes competitive marketing strategies achieving short and long- term revenue growth, ensuring that goals are consistent with the country’s growth initiatives
Conducts market and product opportunity assessments; provides support for new business opportunities
Collaborates internally to drive country activities, campaigns, product launches, content creation and Key opinion leaders’ management
Closely monitors market trends within the region, keeps up to date on competitive products and activities
Interacts with other internal departments or external organizations to help achieve overall business goals and objectives
Manages opportunity funnel for digital leads and monitors win/loss; follows standard work and drives countermeasures to ensure high conversion rates
Develops SW around market visibility & works with country teams and regional marketing managers and channel partners to address the gaps
Owns segmentation & pricing and involvement in strategic funnel reviews
Designs promotional tools for sales promotion activities and coordinates the creation of visual panels used in tradeshows, conferences, workshops, etc.
Required Education, Experience, Skills
Bachelors’, Master’s Degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 4+ years of escalating experience in product management, brand management, marketing strategy or other marketing roles in Asia Pacific
Strong communication skills in English
A “can do” positive and action focused attitude
Superior project management skills and an ability to multitask
Self-motivated, energetic and result-oriented individual focused on driving value creation
Experience in regional healthcare/diagnostics environment desired;
Competent with business software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, teams at a minimum)
Ability to travel up to 40% in-country and internationally to attend training sessions.
