The Facebook Reality Labs (FRL) Recruiting Team at Facebook supports technical hiring across our AR/VR engineering teams. It is the goal of these teams to create and ship new, category-defining consumer hardware and software products that are immersive, social, and define our consumer’s daily experiences. As a team of world-class experts, we drive innovation in the areas of augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, connectivity, and more.As a recruiter on the FRL Hardware team, you will be a strategic driver in partnering with leaders across our specialized hardware teams to build out the teams that will invent the future. We conceive practical and creative ways to surface leading talent, and we invest a great deal of time activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building and cultivating talent pipelines for our hiring needs and will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business, working towards our mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role
Manage complex offer negotiations and partner with HR for successful onboarding and communicating status to all stakeholders along the way
Collaborate closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure we meet their hiring needs and goals
Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
Facilitate and lead meetings and key initiatives and projects with client groups, and with the recruiting teams, that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results
Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting, HR, Compensation, Interviewer Training, and Diversity teams)
Coordinate closely with recruiting team members to innovate our research strategy for talent pooling, market mapping and competitor analysis
6+ years technical recruiting experience
Experience in sourcing, engaging and activating passive candidates
Experience with candidate care and balancing process with candidate experience
Knowledge with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques and software collaboration tools
Experience with leveraging talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams
Experience with communication and working cross-functionally
- Experience sourcing & recruiting in niche technical fields outside of software, such as optics or specialized technical roles in the hardware industry
