What we need

Skanska USA Building Inc. (Skanska) is looking for a temporary (through July 2021) Senior Graphic Designer to assist our Marketing Creative Services Team. This role can be 100% remote based but preferred locations will be Tampa, Orlando, or Atlanta. This role will be part-time temporary (around 20 hours a week based on team workload). In this job, youll support our pursuit efforts by taking on responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Work with fellow Graphic Design and Marketing Team to develop custom covers, tabs, and packaging for proposals

  • Develop custom PPT and InDesign templates for presentations/internal meetings

  • Design communication materials across media types including ad creation, boilerplate, newsletters, e-blasts, tradeshow displays, presentations, trade show materials, and and other internal projects

  • Ensure corporate brand style guides are being represented correctly

  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while workign independently and with other designers

What you bring to the table

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 6+ yeaars of experience in graphic design or related field

  • Strong layout, typography and vector illustration skills

  • Expereince wtih designing layouts for large documents, especially RFQs adn RFPs

  • Expereince in Architectural, Construction, Engineering (AEC) industry preferred

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related degree

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to multi-talk and meet deadlines

  • Ability to adapt to different communication styles

  • A team player mindset with the ability to work independently

  • Excellent skills in time management adn organization

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • A willingness to learn above and beyond

  • A collaborative mindset

  • The ability to think outside the box to find solutions to problems

  • Recognized by clients as consistently delivering client delight in product and process

A day in the life

  • Discuss proposal graphics needs with fellow Designers and Marketing Manager

  • Create custom InDesign templates, covers and tabs for proposal based on a theme

  • Develop graphics and infographics for proposal/presentation

  • Work with Technical Writers to design/layout boilerplate documents

Available for immediate start

This position is remote and contract based. Applicant will need their own computer and Creative Cloud applications. Applicant will need to provide resume, portfolio, and desired hourly rate
