The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an ‘Automotive Key Account Manager’ , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Driving 3M growth strategies & main priorities at key account align with subsidiary & Business Group ones and the account’s expectations/strategies.

  • Driving spec-in/design-in portfolios to increase 3M penetration.

  • Influencing key account to sell 3M Automotive Portfolio through existing way to market structure (open doors, create opportunities)

  • Managing relationships between key account & 3M in all relevant level, including c-suite level; to improve 3M relevance and reputation at key account.

  • Managing and being responsible for the daily 3M operations and activities to serve at the best to key account as 3M.

  • Collaborating with Global- Area Account Managers/ Portfolio owners, corporate functions and R&D organization to drive big 3M portfolio penetration across the key account.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Engineering degree preferably in mechanical

  • At least 5 years of sales and/or project management experience in automotive business

  • Good business management and negotiation skills

  • Strong project management skills in cross-functional environment and solution provider type of personality

  • All applicants must be fluent in English, proficient in MS Office Package.
