ERPi Junior Program Consultant in Washington, DC, District Of Columbia

ERPi is currently seeking a full-time Junior Program Consultant.

The Junior Program Consultant will provide support to VHA in the analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness. This includes program reviews requiring systematic ways of assessing the quality of current and future VHA programs to determine ways to improve programs. This includes measuring success, outcomes, and improvement programs. In some instances, the Program Consultant shall assist VHA in executing program operations to meet the previously established goals and objectives. In addition, the Program Consultant shall provide input on the program evaluation and improvement of the organization and management of projects/programs to increase productivity/program performance. The Program Consultant shall also assist VHA in the identification of program resources and assist in the development of program reports.

Other related tasks may include:

  • Identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.

  • As a team member, understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and, feedback to less experienced staff.

  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including presenting to senior executives, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts.

  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data.

  • Interacting with stakeholders and business colleagues to analyze and define business requirements and related project reporting, developing methodologies to create and enhance applications and tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare or related areas

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced with a Government Integrated Health Care System with substantive programs focused on Veterans health care and outreach; Patient Centered Medical Home; Mental Health; Prosthetics; Tele Health; Mental Health (including Residential Rehabilitation and PTSD); Women’s Health; Specialty Care; Veterans Homelessness; Geriatrics and Extended Care; Rural Health; Patient Centered Care; and, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM))

  • Federal healthcare experience

  • Management consulting experience
